My name is Jack Ying and I am a Real Estate Adviser in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

http://jackying.ca/storage/file/jacksmall.jpgA little background about myself, I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Singapore, lived in Austin, Texas, and have called North Vancouver home since 1998. I am bilingual, fluent in both English and Chinese, and attended the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Computer Science and a minor in English Literature and Economics.

Since immigrating to Canada, I have started a family and ran a successful business in West Vancouver’s Ambleside area.

After selling my business, I have been active in both the real estate market and the home renovation industry. That was when I realized that I could draw on my recent experiences as a client and my personable nature to help my clients achieve their real estate goals in a most efficient and pleasant manner.

If you were to ask me why I got into real estate, I would not say that I’ve been interested in real estate ever since whenever. Nor would I say that I have parents or relatives in real estate. The perceived lifestyle of a realtor and is also not what drove to get my license. So what was it? I would say that it is the combination of teaching, psychology, strategy and technology involved in real estate that hooked me in.

I am continually upgrading my website, www.JackYing.ca and have recently started a few specialty sites, Shangri-La 4 Sale dot Com, Woodward’s 4 Sale dot Com and The Max 4 Sale dot Com. There will be more to come, I’m sure.

While working on these sites, I realized that I needed a central blog, as opposed to blogging in 4 separate sites. Thus the birth of Vancouver Realtor Blog dot Com! But this blog will be more than just Real Estate related posts. This Blog has been created to educate, inform and even amuse. I also touch on subjects such as renovations and other things that interests me. Have a visit and come back often.
